We undertook the comprehensive production of uniforms in line with branding aimed at evolving into a comprehensive lifestyle industry operator.
The uniforms for both the company and its group companies were treated as “assets” to be provided to employees, and all costs for designs, patterns, samples, and specifications were purchased from us, the design firm, by Keiyo Gas.
By allowing Keiyo Gas to hold all design rights, subsequent mass production could be conducted with fair and simple procurement processes. This project serves as a model case and represents an innovation in the uniform business.
Working closely with the members of the uniform committee established within Keiyo Gas, the design was made with a focus on functionality. Based on research to identify issues, improvements were made in safety, antistatic properties, mobility, durability, and washability.
The HE METHOD (Japanese patent application 2019-199922), which eliminates stress in various postures, was adopted. The pants design accommodates squatting and kneeling positions. Additionally, high-brightness, durable retroreflective materials were applied in effective locations.
The 3-way jacket, which serves as both rainwear and cold-weather wear, offers versatile styling options with a detachable inner vest and hood.
The uniforms for Hello Mate staff, who perform meter inspections and other tasks, have also been completely renewed.
The design was structured as a single unit under "ALL KEIYO GAS," including group companies.
Interviews were conducted with over 100 Hello Mate staff, resulting in a functional design that incorporates a variety of requests.
The uniforms are thoughtfully designed to ensure safe and comfortable work performance in any season or weather.
